A VISIT TO THE YCS SUMMER CAMP

Happiness is Camping 2016 copyHappiness Is Camping, located in Hardwick, NJ, provides YCS children with an opportunity to get out of the inner city, play, swim, and just have fun! The YCS children who attend summer camp can create new happy memories, and forget their pain and trauma.

Each summer, children up to the age of 12 who live in a Youth Consultation Service residential home attend a 2-week summer camp session. This year, on Friday, June 24, from 1pm-3pm we have a group providing a carnival on visiting day. What an opportunity for NCJW members to volunteer at the carnival and share the children’s joy.

YCS will provide transportation for up to 8 people in a van that will pick up at Temple Emeth in Teaneck. For further information and/or to volunteer, contact Marcia Levy at mllevy0648@gmail.com or call her at 201-894-8379.
