BECAUSE HUNGER DOESN’T TAKE THE WEEKEND OFF!

children eatingFun on a winter afternoon. 100 NCJW BCS members and volunteers from the community assembled 400 Snack Packs to be distributed to local school children by the Center for Food Action.  These are children who receive subsidized meals during the week, but may remain hungry on weekends. This is part of the community response against childhood hunger.
