COMING TOGETHER IN THE PURSUIT OF JUSTICE AND HEALING

People of all backgrounds and ethnicities came together on Monday night, June 22, 2015, on the steps of the Hackensack (NJ) Court House to mourn the deaths of the nine people senselessly killed at the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston.  It was a night of prayer, song and hope as this diverse crowd of concerned citizens listened, applauded and hugged the stranger next to them. It was a coming together in the pursuit of justice and healing.
