Eulogy for Jeannine

Message from Ann Levenstein, Jeannine’s co-editor, friend and colleague:

For the past three years Jeannine Ciliotta was the editor of our bulletin.  She came to us after a long career in editing and was a wonderful addition to our communications team. Jeannine wasn’t Jewish but loved what we do as an organization.  Through her friends in Med North (in Fort Lee), she joined NCJW Bergen County Section.

Jeannine died suddenly on September 13.  Because her funeral mass was on Yom Kippur, we were unable to honor her memory.  One of her sisters, Claire Ciliotta, attended a gathering held at my home on October 2 where we reminisced and celebrated Jeannine’s life.  Claire read to us the beautiful eulogy she gave at the funeral. Thank you to Claire for sharing with us the wonderful life Jeannine led.

We will miss Jeannine, as a friend, a colleague, and a wonderful editor.
