HUMAN TRAFFICKING/MODERN-DAY SLAVERY IN BERGEN COUNTY

Hands in chains - help me!

Human Trafficking – Modern Day Slavery, the fastest growing criminal industry in the world, was the subject of our general meeting in November. To a crowd of over 300 NCJW BCS members, invited community activists and coalition partners, four panelists defined and described this appalling phenomenon that exploits women, children and occasionally men. This program to reach out, educate and make people aware of the indices of human trafficking is an ongoing effort to ensure that the 2014 Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium in the Meadowlands will be free of trafficking predators.
