Hope for Peace in the Middle East: Understanding Israel

At our Israel Affairs Study Group at the Ethical Culture Society in Teaneck on May 15, 2014, Professor Alain L. Sanders of St. Peter’s University, a former senior reporter for Time Magazine, screened a multi-media presentation “Hope for Peace in the Middle East: Understanding Israel.”  The movie offered a broad survey of contemporary Israel while also providing a deeper understanding of both the country and the general Middle East conflict.

It helped us to:

UNDERSTAND ISRAEL – a historic and modern, vibrant, democratic nation.
LEARN why events in the Middle East are important and relevant to us as Americans.
ENABLE people to engage in constructive dialogue by learning the facts.

A lively Q&A ensued. For further information, click on: http://www.standwithus.com/
