MUCH KUDOS FOR 2017 MEMBERSHIP LUNCHEON

Delicious mimosas and hors d’oeuvres greeted 165 animated attendees upon entry. The luncheon, catered by La Promenade of Tenafly, was an attractive combination of grilled salmon, chicken salad, fresh salads and more. Lunch concluded with a lovely selection of fresh fruit and delicious cookies. Great food and plenty of it.

We were blessed with a cadré of spirited volunteers, both new members and old, who set the tables, delivered food platters, and cleared the tables, so the balance of the crowd could enjoy the festivities. Many thanks to everyone who helped; there are just too many to name.

A tremendous amount of leftovers turned out to be a bonus of good will, when it was delivered to Eva’s Kitchen in Paterson, a shelter feeding the homeless. There were big smiles from their staff and clients when the food arrived.

The fashion show, always a favorite, was a huge success once again, thanks to the models, the participating local retailers — ANAC DESIGNS and CLOTHES FOR HER — and the delightful commentary of Carole Benson who moderated.
