Close to 300 individuals  and more than 40 partner organizations turned out for NCJW Bergen County’s November forum “LGBT Equality: Out Work has Just Begun.” Panelists discussed the impact of the election and the importance of remaining steadfast to maintain our nation’s social justice programs including: protecting and preserving affordable and accessible health care, voting rights, marriage equality, LGBTQ rights, minority and immigrant rights, and preventing gun violence. They urged a united approach and taking action that is outside their comfort zone. Indeed NCJW Bergen County Section’s work has just begun.
