NCJW BCS PRESENTS CHECK TO CFA

At the recent Center For Food Action Gala, Marcia Levy, board member of NCJW BCS and Center for Food Action, proudly presents a $10,000 check to a most appreciative Patricia Espy, CFAs Executive Director and one of the evening’s honorees.

In the picture and attending the Center For Food Action Gala are additional NCJW members Elaine Pollack,Sue Kanrich and Doris Sarokin.  Prior to the presentation Bill Ervolino of The Record and Master of Ceremony for the evening challenged the attendees to match the generous NCJW BCS check. This was met with a wonderful round of applause.

NCJW BCS supports the CFA Weekend Snack Pack program both financially and with volunteers to ensure that many children who receive free or reduced-price school meals are not left without adequate nutrition on weekends and holiday breaks.
