NCJW BCS PRESENTS DONATION TO BERGEN VOLUNTEER MEDICAL INITIATIVE (BVMI)

NCJW BCS Presidium member Marcia Levy, co-Vice President Ruth Seitelman, and Board member Gladys Laden presented a donation to Bergen Volunteer Medical Initiative (BVMI), one of the many community services supported by NCJW Bergen County Section. Our relationship with BVMI began in 2006 when BCS joined a small group of Bergen County residents to help create a medical center that would provide free primary care to low-income Bergen County adults who work but don’t have access to healthcare. This free medical center now serves nearly 1,000 county residents and provided 6,000 medical visits in 2015. The donation from BCS will be used to support BVMI’s Women’s Health Initiative.
