NCJW WOMEN MADE BLANKETS FOR A MITZVAH

On January 19, 2016, over forty women from NCJW BCS came together for our annual blanket party.  Over the course of two hours, the group made 24 warm and cuddly fleece blankets which will be donated to one of our community service partners for distribution to the children in the program.

The fleece material was prepared in advance by Marian Kugelmass, so that the women could cut, tie and complete the blankets during the course of the meeting.  The blankets were hand tied while the women socialized with friends and also met with new members of the section who were attending their first meeting.

The blanket party provides the opportunity for members to schmooze and do a mitzvah at the same time. Hope to see you next year!
