SNACK PACKS FOR CENTER FOR FOOD ACTION

snack-pack

We are going to make the weekends happier for some kids!

Join us at our January 17, 2017 general meeting when we will prepare 500 child-friendly healthy goody bags to be distributed by the Center for Food Action. The contents of the packs are shown below.

Many children who receive free or reduced price school meals are hungry on weekends. The Snack Packs are distributed by the Center to kids in 8 local elementary schools. The teachers discreetly place the packs into the students’ backpacks when they are out of the classrooms.

The Weekend Snack Packs are part of an effort to reduce childhood hunger in our neighborhoods.

JOIN US ON JANUARY 17!!! TEMPLE EMETH – 12:30 PM
