The National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) is a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action. Inspired by Jewish values, NCJW strives for social justice by improving the quality of life for women, children, and families and by safeguarding individual rights and freedoms.

A Faith in the Future. A Belief in Action.

NCJW Bergen County Section has been dedicated to improving the quality of life for women, children and families for the past 91 years.   To achieve its goal, the section raises funds from a variety of sources in many different ways: individual contributions, special events, community businesses, membership dues, bequests, and miscellaneous donations.  It does not receive any local, state or national grants.  It therefore must rely on the generosity of its members and the local community to develop advocacy programs designed to inform, educate and assist Bergen County residents and to support community services both here and in Israel.
