The Louis Bamberger Legacy

Reported by Charlotte Bennett Schoen

And it was a home run for the 27 members who attended the April 12th NCJW BCS trip to Newark, featuring the legacy of Bamberger at the New Jersey Historical Society and a docent-led tour at the Newark Museum. Even the catered lunch at the Newark Museum was excellent.  Hats off to Linda Forgosh, curator of Meet Me Under the Bamberger Clock and author of Louis Bamberger, Department Store Innovator and Philanthropist, who led us on an outstanding tour! And hats off to Phyllis Palley who organized the interesting and meaningful perfect day!
