YEAR-END SWIM-IN LUNCHEON

On Sunday, May 21st, 70 swimmers, volunteers and family members joined together at The Graycliff in Moonachie to celebrate the completion of the 41st year of The MS Swim-In program.  Swim-In is a unique community service project for people with Multiple Sclerosis co-sponsored by the National MS Society NJ Metro Chapter and the National Council of Jewish Women Bergen County Section.   Swim-In provides supervised physical activity in the pool at the Kaplan JCC on the Palisades in Tenafly for two hours every Wednesday from September through May.   The social and exercise benefits of this unique community service are very rewarding for “swimmers” and volunteers. Volunteers are always welcome.  Contact Ina Silverstein, 201-836-6562, inams98@yahoo.com or Roxanne Reff, 201-944-7581, rkreff@yahoo.com  for more information.  Click photos to enlarge.
