YOUTH CONSULTATION SERVICES HOLDS GALA

More than 600 guests gathered at the Park Ridge Marriott to support YCS at the 17th Annual Festival of Flavors. Guests enjoyed the signature dishes prepared by talented chefs, as they sampled fine wines, craft beers and spirits by Stew Leonard. Critical funds were raised to support children and families in 70 YCS programs across the state.

NCJW BCS is involved in two of YCS’ programs: Holley Child Care and Development Center, a residential treatment facility for emotionally and/or physically abused children in crisis, and Kilbarchan, a residential treatment home for adolescents offering a safe environment to meet each teen’s developmental needs. For more information on how to volunteer at these residential centers, contact Peggy Kabakow at peggyk1@optonline.com.

Elizabeth Halverstam, Carole Benson, Peggy Kabakow and Sue Kanrich enjoyed the evening. Not shown is Nancy Dweck, who was one of the event Chairs.
