A MUSICAL EVENING WITH THE HIPPY KIDS

At a recent workshop for children at HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) there was music in the air.

After a picture book introduction to musical instruments, the children made their own paper plate tambourines.  In addition, they created festive hats which they wore as they began an impromptu parade.  The excited boys and girls marched around the room to some of their favorites — Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Mary Had a Little Lamb, The More We Get Together, and others.
