Emerging Leader Award

Emerging Leader Award 2020 Paula Star

The recipient of this award shall not be a Section Vice-President but has potential for assuming future Section leadership, supports the NCJW purposes, demonstrates commitment, currently serves on the Section Board and has served less than five years.

Paula Star was presented with the Emerging Leader Award at the Zoom Membership Event on October 20, 2020. She was a member of Evening Branch but just recently rejoined and has become an active member of the Board, chairing the Trips committee. She has also volunteered at the Waiting Room and cooked with residents at the Center For Hope and Safety. Paula feels that NCJW BCS is a very committed group of women and supports our programs, especially women’s rights, domestic violence and protection of children and minorities, all serious efforts that NCJW supports and are a natural extension of what she believes in.
