ANNUAL HANUKKAH PARTY AT THE JEWISH HOME AT ROCKLEIGHNCJW Bergen County Section’s annual Hanukkah Party at the Jewish Home at Rockleigh on December 10 was enjoyed by residents, staff and our volunteers. A most delicious luncheon (choice of brisket or fish, along with latkes and apple fritters for dessert) was provided for all of us. Seventeen NCJW women came to help serve and socialize with the residents brightening their day and providing holiday spirit. Two of our members, Susan Laskin and Carol Silverman Kurtz along with Carol’s daughter Samantha, all talented musicians, brought music, songs, cheer and laughter to everyone who was present. Ken Sarfin of “Books & Greetings” in Northvale generously donated 2016 calendars so each resident left with a Hanukkah gift and a warm feeling. Click each photo to enlarge.
