CENTER FOR FOOD ACTION SUMMER FOOD CRISIS

CFASummer food crises are an annual event at the Center for Food Action.

Yes, there are wonderful donations of fresh grown veggies from local gardens which are enthusiastically received by the recipients. However, kids are home and hungry for more than fresh tomatoes and corn. The basic cereals, pastas, mac and cheese and canned proteins do not come to the pantry shelves at this time of year.
