MATISSE AND MCLOONE’S

It was a dreary, rainy day as thirty-eight NCJW BCS members set out on our trip to the Montclair Art Museum on May 25th.  However, we were soon all wearing sunny smiles as the “Matisse and American Art” exhibit brightened and enlightened our day. The Matisse paintings were exceptional and the exhibit also introduced us to other artists who were influenced by Matisse. We divided into small groups and were extremely impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of the docents who conducted our tour. For more information, click here. We then enjoyed a leisurely lunch at McLoone’s Boathouse on a lake in West Orange.
