NCJW BCS SETS THE TONE FOR A GOOD START FOR SCHOOL

Thanks to the generosity of our NCJW Bergen County Section Board members and others, countless numbers of Bergen County children will head off to school with their needed school supplies.

The supplies were sorted and delivered to three of the agencies that NCJW BCS supports: Bergen Family Center, Center for Hope and Safety, and the Women’s Rights Information Center.  Each group received a huge carton, containing notebooks, pencils, pens, calculators and more, as well as gift certificates to help with purchasing any additional supplies.

Upon opening the carton, one of the agency representatives said, “Without the generous donation of these school supplies, gift certificates and outpouring of love and caring from the volunteers and donors at NCJW Bergen County Section, our clients would not be looking forward to starting the upcoming school year and would not be the happy children they are today. You have no idea how important it is for them to have these supplies. Thank you, NCJW!!!”
