NCJW ENDORSES HUMAN TRAFFICKING DAY

As a member of the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking, NCJW Bergen County Section supports national efforts to raise awareness about human trafficking. Our goal is to enhance community understanding of this form of modern-day slavery. We have reached out to local rabbis and mayors and urged them to publicize the issue to their respective communities. We have also suggested that the National Human Trafficking Hotline, 1-888-373-7888, be placed on township and synagogue websites.

NCJW is launching a wide social media campaign on January 14, the day that has been designated as the Jewish Community Day of  Action to #EndHumanTrafficking. Organizations and advocates across the country will join together to lift up our unwavering Jewish voice in the fight against human trafficking.
