A WIN-WIN DAY: VISITING YCS CAMP ON JUNE 27

Ever been to camp? Ever wish you had? On Thursday June 27 YCS (Youth Consultation Service) has invited NCJW BCS to visit the children from YCS Holley Child Care Center/YCS Kilbarchan who will be at camp.  For the children it is an amazing opportunity for them to swim, learn some independent living skills (including that bugs can be good), have fun and spend two weeks in the fresh air at a wonderful setting with a huge swimming pool, pond for fishing, even ziplining.

For us, it’s a chance to do crafts, enjoy lunch and reminisce, hopefully, of wonderful camp memories and friendships that were forged when we were kids.  For them it’s a validation that there are adults who care.

A van will leave Temple Emeth parking lot at 9:30am and return about 3pm.
