CALL TO ACTION TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 24, NATIONAL VOTER REGISTRATION DAY

Political strategists indicate that already efforts to ramp up turnout and swamp the votes in all strongholds has been going on at a hectic pace.

Bergen County Section is joining a voter engagement movement to get everyone we know in every city in the country to register to vote in 2020. Every year millions of Americans find themselves unable to vote because they missed a registration deadline, didn’t update their registration, or aren’t sure how to register.

Call to Action

  • On Tuesday September 24, 2019, call, text or email all your relatives, friends, neighbors in all parts of the United States and ask them if they are registered to vote or if their registration is current.
  • Encourage them to visit the U.S. Election Commission website at www.eac.gov/voters/national-mail-voter-registration-form/ to find voter registration requirements, vote by mail and other voter rights information for their state.
  • Ask them to share this information with all their friends, relatives, neighbors in every state and encourage them to register to vote.

Voting isn’t the most we can do. But it is the least.
