DOING THE DEAN STREET STROLL

On Thursday, November 14, more than a dozen shops on Dean Street in Englewood donated ten percent of all sales on that day to the National Council of Jewish Women Bergen County Section and to the Sisterhood of Temple Sinai of Tenafly. Proceeds will support, among other things, local programs addressing hunger, children, women, seniors and families.  All the shoppers agreed it was a great day to enjoy shopping for themselves and for holiday gifts for friends and family, while supporting local businesses and giving back to the community at the same time.
