MINDFULNESS STUDY GROUP TEACHES HELPFUL TECHNIQUES

More than 50 NCJW members and guests attended the January 24th study group session, which introduced us to the theory and practice of Mindfulness led by an experienced therapist, Beth Sandweiss.  Beth gave an overview of the concept and instructed us on practical examples to use in our daily lives.  A very thought-provoking presentation, she encouraged us to “stay in the moment” and utilize these strategies to better deal with stressful situations.
