NCJW BCS Co-Sponsoring Screening of Brave Miss World, an Israeli Beauty Queen Speaks Out Against Sexual Violence, Sunday, March 10

Please attend the screening of Brave Miss World on Sunday March 10, 2019 at 2:30 pm at the Ridgewood Public Library, 125 South Maple Street, Ridgewood. The film is the true story of Linor Abargil, Israel’s former Miss World, and her journey from sex crime victim to advocate against sexual harassment.   Jewish Family and Children’s Services will facilitate a talk back with Cecilia Peck, the film director, and the audience.

Five congregations together with NCJW BCS and the JCC Northern New Jersey are sponsoring this program. YWCA Bergen County’s Healing Space will be on site to offer support.
