NEARLY 100 ATTEND ELLIS ISLAND PASSAGE TO ALL THINGS POSSIBLE

Ellis Island: Passage to All Things Possible, the theme of the March 3rd Lunch & Learn program, was received with a great deal of interest by approximately 100 people, the largest audience for an NCJW BCS Lunch & Learn Program ever! Mark Simmons, a veteran stage actor, provided the history of Ellis Island and  presented the stories of three immigrants making their way to America via Ellis Island. The audience was totally engaged as many had a parent or grandparent who experienced emigrating to America through Ellis Island. The lunch of sandwiches, salads and desserts was delicious. All in all a great time was had by everyone.
