SNACK PACKING EVENT A SUCCESS ONCE AGAIN!

Over 125 NCJW BCS members and friends packed 1,500 snack packs in a record 70 minutes at the January 21 general meeting.  In what has become an annual anticipated event, we prepared the packs for the Center for Food Action to distribute to local children in schools and libraries in Bergen County.

The packs are meant to be a supplement on weekends when school meals are not available. Each pack contains tasty, nourishing foods that kids will enjoy.

The Section partially covers the cost of the packs ($4.75/each) by passing a basket at each general meeting and through our annual grant to the Center for Food Action.

Kudos to everyone who participated!!
