The YWCA Northern New Jersey healingSPACE will host the 26th annual Clothesline Project on the Green across from the Courthouse in Hackensack on Thursday, September 26.  Over 2,000 shirts created by survivors will be on display to raise awareness about violence against all people in our communities. The display will be available from 10 AM to 4:30 PM. There will be a noontime program.  For 26 years NCJW BCS has been a proud community partner of the Clothesline Project!  Rain date is Thursday, October 3.

We are asking for 3-5 members to help with the set-up between 8:30 AM and 1O AM.  If you can assist with set up for this worthwhile project or have questions, please contact Joan Cooper at 201-461-7748 or grammyjoan18@gmail.com.

If you attend the Clothesline Project, please visit the Women’s Rights Information Center table to pick-up NCJW BCS “bling.” Wear it proudly and demonstrate to survivors that they are not alone.
